Did you know that one of the most relaxed countries concerning homosexuality in eastern Europe is Estonia? between most ex-Soviet Union countries, Estonia is the one that has evolved more as an egalitarian country about gay recognition.
Of course, not everything-s perfect in wonder land, the country has been going through major social changes, and still there's quite a lot of narrow mindedness sometimes concerning sex (but mostly with older people).
However, the young ones are more relaxed, open-minded and eager to create new things, and to live in an open society where they can just be themselves.
"The launch of a new Family Law proposal by the Estonian Ministry of Justice, which explicitly declared marriage to be an institution between a man and a woman, provoked a public debate on this issue starting from December 2005. The public debate was called by the Ministry of Social Affairs, which said it had reservations about the draft law."
